As they head out of town, some thought this was going to be an "easy" stage, rest before the ride to Boulder tomorrow.
The day has been far from slow, averaging almost 29 mph for the day to this point, the remains of the escape ride through Garden of the Gods with Oliver Zaugg leading the way.
The BMC peloton has lined out the peloton in pursuit... they'll be onto the finishing circuits in Colorado Springs shortly...
While BMC and Garmin are up front, the rest of the field are content to save energy for tomorrow.
Sergey Firsanov leads Zuagg and Nibali through a corner, but the peloton will overtake them shortly.
Farrar has timed his sprint to perfection for a second time at the USA Pro Challenge; besting Taylor Phinney for the victory in Colorado Springs.
Farrar seems to be all smiles now that he has another victory under his belt...
