Golden has rolled out the welcome wagon again for the USA Pro Challenge...
They've even lined up a new team for the race; though, since the frames are not UCI approved, they'll not start today...
Levi rolls to the sign-in stage... most think he'll bide his time and save energy for the TT tomorrow...
Tejay sure hopes that is the plan; he's hoping to still be in yellow for tomorrows race against the clock.
There is a fourteen man escape as the race heads up Boulder Canyon... yet again, the timeless Jens Voigt has made the break.
The BMC led peloton comes through the canyon about five and a half minutes later.
The escape managed to hold off the field and Rory Sutherland has won up Flagstaff to take stage 6!
Jens has hung on as well... attacking on Lee Hill before the final KoM and on the slopes of Flagstaff, he's managed to take third place on the day - his second podium of the week! He's won the King of the Mountains classification - at age 40!
Levi has attacked as well - he's put time into Tejay, but the question is how much?
It is Vande Velde who is next to cross the line, followed by the best young rider - Joe Dombrowski of Bontrager LIVESTRONG. Christian now sits in second place, just 9 seconds behind Leipheimer.
Tejay crosses 29 seconds adrift of Leipheimer - so he now sits in third, 21 seconds behind Levi.
Levi was all smiles as he accepted the yellow leader's jersey - it all comes down to the race against the clock tomorrow!
